So I recently returned from a weekend trip to Cedar Point where I really tried to push my limits. I managed to get enough courage to get on the Maverick there and managed to survive! Cedar Point has a fairly new attraction called Top Thrill Dragster. It’s CRAZY! It shoots you out of the gate at 120 mph, rockets you straight up 420 feet in the air, and then straight down again. The whole ride takes about 8 seconds! One of my friends is operating that ride this summer, so I figured it would be insulting not to try it. Oh wow…what a rush! I bought the picture of myself afterwards and I’ll post it up here, if I can get it scanned in properly. You can see how scared I was as the thing shot forward…I’d definitely do it again, though.
Do you have a favorite Cedar Point Ride? What is it? Why do you like it so much?
