TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer, the biggest book/movie event of the year begins in Grand Blanc at the NCG Trillium Cinemas with a special screening at 12:05 AM on November 21st. (Thursday night).  Tickets are on sale via the box office, telephone or web page.  Later show times at the Trillium will be 11:30 AM, 2:00, 4:35, 7:05, 9:35 and 11:55 PM. 

Courtland Center’s first show will be on November 21 at 1:00 PM.  Daily shows are scheduled for 1:00, 4:00, 7:00, and 9:35 PM.

Showcase Cinemas Flint West offers eight daily performances.  Show times are 1:00, 1:30, 3:50, 4:20, 6:40, 7:10, 9:30 and 9:35 PM.

You can look forward to more Bella and Edward on the big screen.  The remaining three books have been optioned and are in development.

Do great stories make great movies?  Find out when three stories with “Bite” are being screened this week at GDL.  Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause is the main attraction at Grand Blanc on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00 PM.  Spiderman, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, spins his web at Clio on Thursday, October 16 at 6:00 PM.  The suspense of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Pit and the Pendulum will chill your bones on Saturday, October 18 at 2:00 PM.  Traditional movie refreshment will be served at all performances.  A book vs. movie discussion will follow the movie.

TWILIGHT the movie is being released three weeks early!!!!  The opening is now scheduled for November 21, 2008.  To recognize this momentous event, the Grand Blanc-McFarlen Branch is holding a CELEBRATION!!!  Dress for the occasion as your favorite Twilight character when you attend Bella and Edward’s wedding.  Listen to great tunes while competing for vampire prizes playing Twilight Jeopardy.  Don’t miss the event of the year on November 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  Keep reading for updates on Twilight the Movie and Twilight the Party!
