TeenFusion @ the GDL

Try Wii Sport or Wii Play at the Grand Blanc-McFarlen Branch beginning January 5, 2009.  Register at the circulation desk, check out the game of your choice along with the Wiimote/Nunchuks for 30 minutes of Wii fun.  Each player must check out their own Wiimote/Nunchuk with their own library card.  The Wii is scheduled at Grand Blanc-McFarlen for two weeks, then it moves on to the Mt. Morris Branch for two weeks.

TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer, the biggest book/movie event of the year begins in Grand Blanc at the NCG Trillium Cinemas with a special screening at 12:05 AM on November 21st. (Thursday night).  Tickets are on sale via the box office, telephone or web page.  Later show times at the Trillium will be 11:30 AM, 2:00, 4:35, 7:05, 9:35 and 11:55 PM. 

Courtland Center’s first show will be on November 21 at 1:00 PM.  Daily shows are scheduled for 1:00, 4:00, 7:00, and 9:35 PM.

Showcase Cinemas Flint West offers eight daily performances.  Show times are 1:00, 1:30, 3:50, 4:20, 6:40, 7:10, 9:30 and 9:35 PM.

You can look forward to more Bella and Edward on the big screen.  The remaining three books have been optioned and are in development.

Only one teen event is scheduled for the week of June 29.  Joel Tacey is back with Play Station’s Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution.  Space is limited so call the Grand Blanc-McFarlen branch to secure your playtime.  Expect the unexpected from  Mr. Tacey’s unique style of entertainment.
